We ran an intensive collaborative research workshop with the Girls Leadership staff to better understand the organization and their goals.

The core identity speaks both to the collective strength of girl power and the individual differences that make each girl unique. Visually, the identity shifts between the whole and the individual parts, never fully privileging either, much like the organization.

To kick off the website project, we hosted a series of workshops with the staff to determine the communication, content and functional needs of the project.

The website is the key expression of the new brand, but even more importantly, the user experience and content strategy have been streamlined to give people quicker, easier access to Girls Leadership’s offerings.

Girls are not about the color pink and ponies. They are tough, smart, creative and powerful. Girls Leadership asked us to imagine a new brand that reflects the ambition and strength of the organization then construct a new website to better communicate this and connect people to its rich offerings.
