Lexy
Strategy / Branding / Collateral / Website
The logo is a "sonic drop" vessel; a symbolic representation of the audio content possible to share using Lexy. The mark separates Lexy from its competition by not falling prey to soon-to-be-dated "Web 2.0" look of puffy type, gradients, and clichéd communication motifs.
Since Lexy's service revolves around the idea of sound technology, every employee's name is spelled out phonetically on their business card.
In the spirit of Lexy's sound-based service, the website is, initially, very spartan, featuring only images of mouths and ears that reveal different kinds of content (audio or otherwise) when one rolls over them.
Lexy was a new cellular phone "Talk, Listen and Share" service that sought to provide all the richness of Internet communication on the voice channel of a mobile phone. Volume was enlisted to create the Lexy brand from the ground up and our work helped the company secure VC funding.
